check list
1. Show starts at 6:30. DOORS WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL 5:45, so there is no need to arrive extremely early. When you arrive, your dancer will sit with you in the auditorium until otherwise instructed.
2. When you arrive, the dancer should be in full costume, hair & make-up with additional costumes & accessories in a brown bag labeled with their name. All shoes should be labeled on the bottom.
Stage make-up(to avoid washed out faces under the stage lights)
EYE SHADOW... blue or purple...up to brow...mid-pupil > out
LIPSTICK
BLUSH
EYE LINER and/or MASCARA...top and bottom...mid-pupil > out (THIS IS OPTIONAL FOR YOUNGER DANCERS)
FOUNDATION is recommended for those with very light complexions.
3. Dancers will remain backstage for the entire show. It runs 1 hour and there will be a curtain call for all ages at the end. After the show, only ONE adult, who is in charge of the dancer, should remain in the auditorium while the rest of the friends & family clear out. Once everyone else has cleared out, each class will be brought out 1 at a time to their adult.
CHECK LIST....ALL COSTUMES SHOULD BE WRINKLE FREE & PLACED IN BAG NEATLY.
Tuesday 4:30
Arrive wearing: Black dress with red sequins shorts underneath. White ribbon/sash goes around waist(tied in back) white headband & tap shoes. Hair: Down (going for a formal look).
IN BROWN BAG: Red Sequins top, black arm mitts, black headpiece.
Tuesday 5:30
Girl attire: Arrive wearing white leotard with blue sequins dress over it. Hair: Any style...and, you may incorporate the blue hair bows however you would like. However, keep in mind that the hair choice must work with the headpieces used for the other dances.
IN BROWN BAG: Colored skirt & matching bow for hair, satin neck scarf, white ankle socks, colored biker shorts, headband, TAP SHOES.
Boy attire: Arrive wearing white shorts, blue/white shirt, blue bow tie.
IN BROWN BAG: 2 pairs of shorts(Navy & lighter blue), White button up shirt, plain white t-shirt, suspenders, excercise sweatbands(head & 2 arms pieces). TAP SHOES.
Tuesday 6:30
Arrive wearing leggings & graphic T-shirt tied at DANCERS RIGHT hip with the hair tie (provided, but any elastic will do). TAP SHOES. Hair: Side pony tail on DANCERS LEFT side.
IN BROWN BAG: Skirt, hand mitts, headpiece, Walk-man.
Tuesday 7:30
Arrive wearing black yoga pants with black biker shorts underneath. 70's retro top. & headband. Hair: Low, slicked back ponytail
IN BROWN BAG: regular black leggings, blue satin shirt, black headband, tap shoes, lyrical dress, headband for lyrical.
Wednesday 5:45
Girl attire: Arrive wearing polka dot dress with black biker shorts underneath, black headband bow, tap shoes. Hair: Your choice. HOWEVER, it needs to be a style that works with hat for the hip hop as well.
Boy attire(Lincoln): Arrive wearing shorts with biker shorts underneath, pink shirt, polka dot bow tie, tap shoes.
IN BROWN BAG: EVERYONE: White tank top, hip hop pants, hip hop hat, leg warmers, SNEAKERS
Wednesday 6:45
Arrive wearing "jean" leggings with black biker shorts underneath, black shirt, bandana around head, leather gloves. Hair: Low, slicked back pony tail.
IN BROWN BAG: Yellow skirt & matching yellow headband. Tap shoes.
Thursday 5:15
Arrive wearing pajamas with white biker shorts underneath & bunny slippers. Hair: Any style, but keep in mind that your hair choice must work with the other hair/head accessories you received for the other dances.
IN BROWN BAG: White button up shirt, white "tie", red skirt, red bow headband, TAP SHOES, pink sequins dress, tiara
Thursday 6:15
Arrive wearing white leotard under the red marching band shirt, black pants, tap shoes. Hair: Low, slicked back ponytail.
IN BROWN BAG: Colored skirt, graphic T, matching headband, marching band hat, musical instrument.
Saturday 9:15
Arrive wearing polka dot dress with black biker shorts underneath, black headband, tap shoes. Hair: Your choice. HOWEVER, it needs to be a style that works with hat for the hip hop as well.
IN BROWN BAG: White tank top, hip hop pants, hip hop hat, leg warmers, SNEAKERS
Saturday 10:15
